Regal Cinema is closing all of its moviegoing locations this summer, including the new Regal Grand Cinema in Hollywood and the new Grand Cinema Grand at The Beverly Hilton.
The Grand Cinema is the only Regal theater in the country that’s closed, according to a press release from the chain.
The chain has also closed the Regal Hollywood Residence in Beverly Hills, the Regals Hollywood Village and Regal Las Vegas, the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Hollywood Casino, and the Beverly Hilton, the release said.
The Beverly Hilton also closed its Regal Residence at 865 E. Sunset Blvd., the same location where the Beverly Hill Hotel closed in June.
Regal Los Angeles, the chain’s new Los Angeles Residence, is slated to open in 2020.
Regal Grand Cinemas, the second-largest theater chain in the United States, closed all of the locations in March, when the chain announced it was pulling all of it’s films from theaters nationwide.
It closed all the Regent Residences in Los Angeles and in New York City.
Regals Grand Cinema, which opened in December at the Regalian Grand Cinema at the Beverly Wilshire Grand Hotel, has about 500 theaters in 22 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.
It has been closed in Las Vegas for the past several months due to weather and safety issues.
